Free Legal Consultation
If you wish to seek free legal consultation with a solicitor, here are law firms that have volunteered to offer to the public an initial legal consultation not exceeding 45 minutes free-of-charge.
Free Legal Helpline
The Helpline is operated by The Law Society of Hong Kong and it offers preliminary free legal advice to the general public on five areas of law, namely (1) Personal Injuries, (2) Matrimonial Law, (3) Criminal Law, (4) Employment Law, and (5) Wills & Probate.

The Bar Free Legal Service Scheme
It aims to provide free legal advice and representation in court proceedings
(1) where Legal Aid is not available;
(2) where the applicant cannot reasonably afford private legal services; and
(3) the applicant has reasonable grounds for taking or defending the proceedings.
Community Legal Information Centre
A legal information website financed by the Government, which lists out free legal assistance and advice in a wide range of areas, including matrimonial matters, legal aid, bankruptcy and winding-up etc.
