In this program, we helped ethnic minorities students to have earlier goals setting in their study and career path. With a more concrete target, their learning incentive will be increased. We organized a series of workshops and talks on career planning and job hunting in secondary schools.

Through regular meetings of mentors from different professions and Ethnic Minorities mentees, mentees were expected to concretize their career planning, broaden their horizons and be more concerned about social issues. The mentoring relationship was cultivated mutually by both mentor and mentees. They grow, share and learn together in the relationship.

Since Sep 2004, the Education Bureau (EDB) adopted a new arrangement for the education of ethnic minority children. Under the new policy, these children could opt to study in mainstream primary school that help them integrate into the community earlier.
